This article is intended to explain the process and funding implications when a student exits the Utah Fits All (UFA) Scholarship Program during the school year.
If you exit the UFA Scholarship Program during the school year, you are forfeiting your funds and your place in the program. For this reason, you must notify Odyssey. At that point, we will remove any remaining funds from the exited student's scholarship account and we may make those funds available for new scholarship awards within the same year.
Any new scholarship award made during the same year and using funds from an exited student's account shall be prorated as follows:
- If awarded during the second quarter of the school year, no more than 75% of the annual scholarship amount is allocated;
- If awarded during the third quarter of the school year, no more than 50% of the annual scholarship amount is allocated; and
- No new scholarship awards shall be made during the fourth quarter of the school year.
