Marketplace Pricing Guidelines for Vendors and Service Providers

Learn how to price products and services offered through the Odyssey Marketplace.

Vendors and service providers are responsible for setting prices for their Marketplace offerings. Prices should be competitive and within a reasonable range of prices for similar products or services.

Competitive Pricing

Marketplace offerings must be priced within a reasonable margin of the blended market.

The blended market is based on the average retail price for similar products or services, excluding the highest and lowest prices. Deep discounts are also not counted against the blended market.

💡 Note: Odyssey does not price match. Your offering does not have to be the lowest-priced option, but it should be reasonably priced compared with similar offerings.

Include Shipping in Your Price

If shipping is required, include the shipping cost in the listed price of the offering.

Additional shipping charges cannot be added after the order is placed.

Do Not Include Sales Tax

Do not include sales tax in the listed price.

When applicable, sales tax is automatically calculated at checkout based on the product or service being purchased.

Offering Review

Odyssey may decline an offering based on its pricing or its value to the Marketplace.

💡 Note: Before submitting an offering, review your pricing to make sure it reflects the complete cost of the product or service and is reasonably aligned with similar offerings.
