Instructional Autonomy

Explains that accepting Wyoming ESA funds does not require ESPs to modify their instructional practices, curriculum, admissions policies, or religious creed.

Accepting Wyoming ESA funds does not require Education Service Providers (ESPs) to modify their practices, creed, admissions policies, or curriculum in any way.

ESPs operate independently and are not governed by the state or public school districts. The Wyoming ESA Program respects the autonomy of educational service providers to design and deliver instruction according to their own educational philosophy, values, and methods.

This is consistent with the intent of the Wyoming ESA program to expand educational choice and empower families to select the providers that best fit their children’s needs — while preserving each provider’s right to maintain its own educational approach.
