UFA Update from Odyssey - 05/20/2026

We'd like to remind our new and returning parents of some important dates coming up.

If you are a current UFA parent and you have not submitted your portfolio/assessment, you have until May 31st. If your student has not submitted their portfolio/assessment by May 31st they will not be eligible to participate in the upcoming program year.

School selection and enrollment confirmation is due on June 15th. Please note, you can only select a school that provides education for the grade level corresponding with your student's grade level. Funding will be determined based on confirmed student enrollment — parents must select a school and have their enrollment confirmed by the school in order to receive the private school funding amount.

Awards will begin being issued on June 16th, but spending for the 2026/2027 program year does not begin until July 1st. This means that if your student is awarded the scholarship in June, you will not be reimbursed for spending that occurs before July 1st. The exception is tuition: if you paid a deposit, enrollment fee, or tuition before July 1st to secure your student's spot for the 2026/2027 school year, you may submit that expense for reimbursement once funding has been issued.

If your student received an ineligible determination, you have 15 business days from the date of the decision to file an appeal. Please read the Utah Fits All (UFA) Scholarship Program Appeals Process article and complete the form on that page to start the process.

The last day to submit reimbursements for program year 2025/2026 is May 31st. All reimbursements will be processed and finalized by June 5th. All reimbursement appeals are due by June 10th.
