As we get closer to the application window opening on July 31st, Odyssey would like to share some programmatic updates.
Approved Schools
The list of schools that have joined the Odyssey platform as part of the UFA Scholarship Program continues to grow and is updated regularly on the Approved 25/26 UFA Private Schools page. If you do not see your student's school, it is likely still pending in the application process or has not applied. Please contact your school administrator if you have concerns. Odyssey cannot accept an application for a school on behalf of a parent.
Marketplace Providers vs. Approved Schools
An approved school is not the same as being an approved provider on the marketplace. A participating school must be a full-time, tuition-bearing educational institution where the student receives the majority of their academic instruction. Approved schools will be able to confirm student enrollment and receive tuition payments through the Odyssey platform.
Marketplace providers offer approved products or services through the Odyssey Marketplace. Many institutions that provide curriculum, online instruction, and individual classes may not meet the requirements to be a school but are suited for the marketplace. An approved school may also sign up as a provider to offer non-tuition related services.
Upcoming Webinar
To help families better understand the program and platform, Odyssey will be posting a webinar with more detailed guidance on the UFA program, application steps, and how the platform works. Odyssey will also release a step-by-step guide to walk parents through the application prior to launch.
