2026-2027 Award Issue Notification

Notification announcing the issuance of 2026-2027 UFA awards to over 18,700 students, with details on opt-in deadlines, spending start dates, and waitlist information.

Congratulations to all of our new and returning Utah Fits All students! Awards were issued to over 18,700 students for the 2026-2027 program year.

Waitlist

The waitlist currently has over 8,800 students. Due to the large volume of eligible students, Odyssey was unable to fund all low-income families. Low-income families who did not receive an award will be prioritized first in the next round of funding.

The next round of awards will be issued in August after the 2025-2026 program year funds have been rolled over and the opt-in deadline has passed. Odyssey anticipates that between 1,000-2,000 additional students will be funded. For those on the waitlist, please continue to keep your school selection up to date.

Newly Awarded Students

  • The opt-in deadline is June 30th midnight (MT). If you do not opt your student in by June 30th, your student's award will move to a waitlisted student.

  • Spending for the new program year begins July 1st. With the exception of tuition, program spending that occurs before July 1st cannot be reimbursed.

  • Funds will be made available on July 15th. When funds are available you will be able to shop on the Marketplace, send tuition to your school, and submit for reimbursement.

Cross-Enrollment Checks

Odyssey will be conducting cross-enrollment checks in collaboration with USBE. Students are not allowed to be enrolled in an LEA, SOEP, or the Carson Smith Scholarships while participating in UFA.

For Approved Schools

Schools can see the status of enrolled students in their school portal. If you have not already done so, please continue to confirm your students' tuition. When funds are made available, parents will be able to send tuition directly to your school. Please note that parents are ultimately in control of how their students spend their funds and can send any amount they wish to their school.
