This article explains the process and funding implications when a student exits the Utah Fits All (UFA) Scholarship Program during the school year.
If you exit the UFA Scholarship Program during the school year, you are forfeiting your funds and your place in the program. You must notify Odyssey. At that point, remaining funds will be removed from the exited student's scholarship account and may be made available for new scholarship awards within the same year.
Proration of New Awards
Any new scholarship award made during the same year using funds from an exited student's account will be prorated as follows:
If awarded during the second quarter of the school year, no more than 75% of the annual scholarship amount is allocated.
If awarded during the third quarter of the school year, no more than 50% of the annual scholarship amount is allocated.
No new scholarship awards shall be made during the fourth quarter of the school year.
