Learn about price caps and purchase restrictions for eligible expenses under the LA GATOR Scholarship Program.

Price Caps and Purchase Restrictions

Some eligible expenses under the LA GATOR Scholarship Program have price caps or restrictions on how often they can be purchased.

A price cap is the maximum amount an item can be listed for in the Odyssey Marketplace.

  • For Families: The price cap is the maximum amount that can be spent per student on the applicable product or service using scholarship funds.

  • For Vendors: Listings that exceed the applicable price cap must be adjusted before they can be approved in the Marketplace.

A purchase restriction limits how often certain products or services can be purchased. The Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) has established the following restrictions.
