This article explains how to claim your MOScholars account and confirm your student's participation in the program.
If you've received an email to claim your MOScholars account, follow the steps below to complete your account setup and access your scholarship dashboard.
Step 1: Claim Your Account
Open the email from Odyssey titled "ACTION REQUIRED: Claim your MOScholars account on Odyssey."
Click Claim MOScholars account.
You'll then:
- Verify your email address.
- Create your Odyssey password.
Note: Your claim link expires after a limited time. If your link has expired, please contact Support for assistance.
Step 2: Complete Student Information
After creating your password, you'll be directed to the Student Information page.
For each student listed:
- Select the student's Gender.
- Select the student's Race/Ethnicity.
When you've completed the required information for all students, click Continue.
Step 3: Accept the Program Attestations
Next, you'll review the MOScholars program attestations.
To continue:
- Review the required statements.
- Select all required acknowledgment boxes.
- Click Submit.
Step 4: Open the Participation Confirmation
After submitting your attestations, you'll be taken to your student dashboard.
If your student is eligible to receive scholarship funds, you'll see an announcement prompting you to confirm participation.
Click Confirm participation to continue.
Step 5: Review Your Students
The Confirm Student Participation window will open.
Your eligible students will already be selected to opt in. Review the students listed, then click Continue.
Step 6: Confirm Participation
Review the students listed one final time.
- If everything looks correct, click Confirm.
- If you need to make changes, click Go back.
Step 7: You're All Set!
After confirming your participation, you'll return to your dashboard.
Your student's status will update from Approved – Awaiting Opt In to Approved.
Once your student is approved, you can continue completing any remaining program requirements, such as selecting an educational setting.
