This article explains the filters and statuses schools may see in the Odyssey School Portal.
Student Filters
These filters help you track where students are in the enrollment and tuition process.
| Filter | Meaning |
|---|---|
| All Active Students | Shows all students who selected your school in the Odyssey platform. |
| Enrollment Verification Pending | The student is waiting for you to review their enrollment request. You must select Verify Enrollment or Deny Enrollment. |
| Tuition/Fees Needed | You verified the student’s enrollment, and now you must enter annual tuition and fees. If a parent denies the tuition and fees amount, the student will return to this status so you can update and resubmit the amount. |
| Tuition/Fees Awaiting Confirmation | Tuition and fees were submitted, and the school is waiting for the parent to confirm the amount. |
| Tuition/Fees Confirmed | The parent confirmed the tuition and fees amount. No further action is needed from the school at this time. |
| Q1 Paid | The first quarter tuition payment was submitted. |
| Q2 Paid | The second quarter tuition payment was submitted. |
| Q3 Paid | The third quarter tuition payment was submitted. |
IMPORTANT: Selecting a school in the Odyssey platform does not officially enroll a student in the school.
Families must still contact the school directly and complete the school’s admissions process.
Important Payment Information
Funded families have flexibility in how and when tuition payments are submitted during the year.
Because of this:
- Payments may sometimes be applied during a different quarter than expected
- A family may submit Q1 and Q2 payments together during Q2
- Quarter labels may not always reflect the full payment history
When reviewing balances, use:
- Payment Summary
- Total Paid to Date
These can be found in the student’s Payment Details section.
Log Statuses
Log statuses show updates and actions related to enrollment and tuition.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Verified | You approved the student’s enrollment request and must now enter annual tuition and fees. |
| Denied | You denied the student’s enrollment request. The student will move to Inactive Enrollments, and the parent must select another educational setting. |
| Closed | The student selected a different educational setting. The student will move to Inactive Enrollments. |
| Pending Tuition Confirmation | Tuition and fees were submitted, and the school is waiting for the parent to confirm the amount. |
| Tuition Confirmed | The parent confirmed the tuition and fees amount. No further action is needed at this time. |
| Tuition Not Confirmed | The parent denied the tuition and fees amount. You can now update and resubmit the amount. |
| Q1 Paid | The first quarter tuition payment was submitted. |
| Q2 Paid | The second quarter tuition payment was submitted. |
| Q3 Paid | The third quarter tuition payment was submitted. |
