This article is intended to help LA GATOR schools understand the meaning of the filters and statuses in the Odyssey School Portal.
Filters and Their Meanings:

What does the status mean? |
All Active Students |
This is the main filter and includes all students who have selected your school. It only excludes Inactive Enrollments. |
Enrollment Verification Pending |
This means the student is waiting for you to review their enrollment request. You must determine if the student will be enrolling at your school by clicking Verify or Deny Enrollment. (Selecting a school in the Odyssey Platform does not enroll the child in the school. Families must still contact the school directly and adhere to the required admissions procedures.) |
Tuition/Fees Needed |
This means you have verified the student's enrollment request and must now set their annual tuition and fees. If a parent denies the tuition and fees amount, they will move to this status so that you can edit and resubmit the amount. |
Tuition/Fees Awaiting Confirmation |
This means you have set the annual tuition and fees and are waiting for the parent to confirm the amount. (Confirming tuition and fees does not initiate payment; payment is handled through a separate process if the student is approved and funded through the program.) |
Tuition/Fees Awaiting Confirmed |
This means the parent has confirmed the annual tuition and fees amount you have set. No further action is needed from your school. |
Q1 Paid |
This means the parent has sent the first quarter payment. |
Q2 Paid |
This means the parent has sent the second quarter payment. |
Q3 Paid |
This means the parent has sent the third quarter payment. |
Q4 Paid |
This means the parent has sent the fourth quarter payment. |
Inactive Enrollments |
This includes students whose enrollment request you have denied, and students who selected your school but have since chosen a different educational setting. |
NOTE: Funded families have flexibility in how and when tuition payments are submitted throughout the year. As a result, payments may sometimes be applied in a different quarter than originally expected. For example, a family may submit both Q1 and Q2 tuition amounts during Q2. In these cases, the “Q1 Paid” field may not fully reflect the total paid, while the “Q2 Paid” field may include combined amounts. When reviewing balances, please calculate using the total paid across all quarters rather than relying solely on the quarter labels. You may review the Payment Summary and Total Paid to Date in the Payment Details found in the student's profile.
Log Statuses and Their Meanings:

Verified |
This means you have verified the student's enrollment request and must now set their annual tuition and fees. |
Denied |
This means you have denied the student's enrollment request. The student will now move to Inactive Enrollments, and the parent must select another educational setting. |
Closed |
This means the student has selected a different educational setting. The student will now move to Inactive Enrollments. |
Pending Tuition Confirmation |
This means you have set the annual tuition and fees and are waiting for the parent to confirm the amount. (Confirming tuition and fees does not initiate payment; payment is handled through a separate process if the student is approved and funded through the program.) |
Tuition Confirmed |
This means the parent has confirmed the annual tuition and fees amount you have set. No further action is needed from your school. |
Tuition Not Confirmed |
This means that the parent has denied the annual tuition and fees amount you have set. Because of this, you will get the option to edit and resubmit the amount. |
Q1 Paid |
This means the parent has sent the first quarter payment. |
Q2 Paid |
This means the parent has sent the second quarter payment. |
Q3 Paid |
This means the parent has sent the third quarter payment. |
Q4 Paid |
This means the parent has sent the fourth quarter payment. |
