This article explains how to submit an Eligibility Request through your Utah Fits All (UFA) student wallet.
An Eligibility Request allows you to request a preliminary review of an educational expense before making a purchase. This can help you determine whether an item or service may qualify as an eligible scholarship expense under the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program.
Important: An Eligibility Request is not a final approval or guarantee of reimbursement. Final reimbursement decisions are made only after Odyssey reviews your completed reimbursement request, supporting documentation, proof of payment, applicable spending limits, and all other program requirements.
Before You Submit
Before submitting an Eligibility Request, please keep the following in mind:
- An Eligibility Request provides a preliminary review based on the information you submit.
- It is designed to help you make an informed purchasing decision before spending scholarship funds.
- Final reimbursement decisions are made only after Odyssey completes its compliance review of your reimbursement request.
- Submitting an Eligibility Request does not guarantee that a future reimbursement request will be approved.
Step 1: Open the Reimbursement Requests Page
Log in to your Odyssey account and open your student's Wallet.
Select Reimbursement Requests to access both reimbursement requests and eligibility requests.
Step 2: Start a New Eligibility Request
Select the Expense Requests tab.
Then click New Request.
Step 3: Complete the Request Form
Fill out the required information about the item or service you would like reviewed, including:
- Reimbursement type
- Item or service name
- Vendor name
- Educational description
- Estimated reimbursement amount
You may also upload supporting documentation if available.
When you're finished, click Submit Inquiry.
Note: This is not your official reimbursement request. The information you provide will only be used to determine whether the expense appears to be an eligible scholarship expense.
Step 4: Track Your Request
After submitting your request, it will appear in your Expense Requests list with a status of Pending while Odyssey reviews the information you provided.
Once the review is complete, the request status will update automatically.
Step 5: Complete Your Reimbursement Request
If your Eligibility Request is determined to be eligible, a Complete Reimbursement button will appear.
Click Complete Reimbursement to begin your official reimbursement request.
The following fields will automatically carry over and cannot be edited:
- Reimbursement type
- Category
- Product or service
- Educational description
If the purchase amount has changed since you submitted your Eligibility Request, you can update the reimbursement amount before submitting your reimbursement request.
Need to Make Changes?
If you need to make significant changes to your request, submit a new Eligibility Request.
