Review Process
Once an application is submitted, we will verify residency and income through the Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR). If there is no result, we will request residency and income documents and conduct a manual review of your application.The application window will close April 15, 2025Selection Process
Funding for student accounts is subject to annual legislative appropriation of state funds. If allocated funds are insufficient to fund all eligible students, awards shall be prioritized as follows:

- Students currently participating in the Louisiana Scholarship Program or LA GATOR
- Students from a family with a total income at or below 250% of the federal poverty guidelines or students identified as having a disability under IDEA
- Siblings of students currently participating in LA GATOR
- Other eligible students
Finally, families are notified of their student’s award through the Odyssey platform after funding has been allocated by the Louisiana Legislature. Funding will begin July 2025.
