Signing Up
Signing up has four stages. Creating the account, application completion, verification, and school selection. Each section will require parents to carefully provide information for application processing. Below will show step by step screenshots on how to apply. Create Account:
1. To start please go to this website and create a parent account
2. Please make sure you click "Create Account" in order to start the application. Please ensure that you use your personal email and have access to this email before signing up.
Application Process:
1. Once the account is created you will have the option to start your application.
2. Please note that the most current address will need to be used. If you filed your taxes under a different address, please make sure you check the box and input the address listed in your Tax Return.
3. While filling in the Household Information it is important that full legal names are used, in the correct box, and are spelled correctly.
4. The form will start with submitting one student's information first. However, if you have more than one student in the household, please click the "Add Another Student" button below. It is important that all students within a household are under the same application.
5. When filling out the Consent and Approvals page, please make sure the Primary Filer's information is submitted. Ensuring the correct information is submitted it imperative to approval. If you do not have the information on hand, please "Save and Exit" the form in order to complete the application at a later date.
6. The last step in the application process will involve checking off important information. Please ensure the answers are correct before signing and submitting. Once submitted, you will not be able to go back or edit the application.
Verification Process:
1. In order to finish the application, you will need to verify your identity. Before starting the verification process, please have all the documents on hand and move to an area with proper lighting. Please do not crop or edit any documentation or pictures before submitting.
2. Once you start, you will first have to confirm the students in the application. Please ensure their legal names and birth dates are correct
3. You will be required to submit a picture of your Drivers License. Please make sure the drivers license is up to date. Any expired documents or out of state licenses will not be accepted.
4. Lastly, you will be required to submit a 1040 Tax Form for each of the students submitted. In other words, if you had three children in your application, the tax form must be submitted three different times.
5. Once submitted, the verification will be complete or require a new attempt. Please make sure that if a new attempt is requested that you have all the correct documentation and different pictures with good lighting are resubmitted.
School Selection Process:
1. Once the application is submitted, you will have the option to select a school
2. It is important to make sure the student listed matches the name of the school attending and the correct grade level.
3. If any changes need to be made, please ensure they are made before the school confirms the selection.
