This article helps schools understand the meaning of statuses when reviewing student enrollments and setting tuition and fees.
Enrollment Request Statuses
To verify enrollment requests, click [Accept Students] or [Review Students]. You will see two different statuses for each student: Application Status and Enrollment Status.
Application Status
Reflects the status of the student's Odyssey application.
Status | What It Means |
Eligible | The student qualifies for the program. Eligibility does not equal approval or funding. |
Under Review | The Odyssey Manual Review Team is verifying the application to determine eligibility. |
Ineligible | The student does not qualify for the program. No action needed for enrollment requests with this status. |
Closed | The Odyssey Team closed the account so the parent could reapply — usually due to an error in the initial application. No action needed for enrollment requests with this status. |
Approved - Awaiting Opt-In | The student is approved and must complete the opt-in process. |
Approved | The student has opted into the program and will be receiving funds. |
Opted Out | The student has opted out and will not be receiving funds for the program year. |
Enrollment Status
Reflects the status of the student's enrollment request with your school.
Status | What It Means |
Pending | You must review the enrollment request and determine if the student will be attending your school. |
Verified | You've confirmed the student will be attending your school. |
Denied | You've determined the student will not be attending your school. |
Closed | The student has switched to a different school. |
Focus on reviewing students with a Pending Enrollment Status and an Eligible or Under Review application status.
Setting Tuition & Fees Statuses
You can set tuition and fees for a student only after verifying their enrollment request. Click [Tuition Fees] or [Enter Tuition & Fees] to access this section.
Annual Tuition Status
Reflects the status of the tuition amount.
Status | What It Means |
Pending | You have not yet set tuition and fees for the student. |
Pending Tuition Confirmation | You've set tuition and fees, but the parent hasn't reviewed the amount yet. You can still edit the amount. |
Tuition Confirmed | The parent has confirmed the tuition amount. |
Tuition Not Confirmed | The parent has denied the tuition amount. You can edit and resubmit. |
Paid | The funds for this payment have been transferred to your school. |
