To be eligible for the Course Choice Empowerment Program, a student must meet the following requirements.
Student Eligibility
To qualify, a student must:
- Attend a private school in the state of Utah;
- Grade: 6-12
- Age: 11-18 as of September 1st of the program year
- The student's parent must be a resident of Utah; or be an exchange student residing in Utah and enrolled in a Utah private school.
Participating Schools
The CCE Program is currently available to students enrolled at the following private schools:
- Intermountain Christian School
- Ivy Hall
- Juan Diego Catholic High School
- Judge Memorial Catholic High School
- Layton Christian Academy
- Mount Vernon
- Saint Andrew Catholic School
- Saint Joseph Catholic High School
- Saint Joseph Catholic School
- Saint Francis Xavier
- Saint John the Baptist Middle School
If your school is not listed above, it is not currently participating in the CCE Program.
Course Enrollment Requirements
Once eligible, a student may enroll in an online course if:
- The student meets any course prerequisites
- The course is open for enrollment
Credit Limits
- Students may enroll in up to 6 credits of online courses per school year
- Students who are also Utah Fits All (UFA) scholarship recipients may enroll in up to 4 credits per school year
