This article is designed for families seeking clarity on the Utah Fits All (UFA) application process, including those applying for the first time and those continuing into a second year of participation.
Why Is There a Delay?
We understand how important it is for families to have accurate and timely information, especially when preparing for the upcoming school year. Unfortunately, there has been a delay in the application and eligibility determination process due to incomplete data provided by the previous program administrator, ACE Scholarships.
Only a small percentage of families were able to complete income verification—a requirement under state law—before the original May 31st deadline. As a result, eligibility determinations are currently delayed.
Right now, we are unable to make a final eligibility determination based on the ACE application alone. Our team is reviewing the information provided by the previous administrator, and if any additional details are needed, we will contact you directly.
We are actively working to validate this data and will provide new guidance and timelines as soon as possible. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding.
Who Does This Impact?
The application process differs slightly depending on whether you’re a first-time applicant or a returning participant from Year One.
For First-Year Applicants
A new application cycle will be launched for families applying for the first time. This is to ensure accurate eligibility assessments and a smooth onboarding experience for new participants.

For Returning Participants (Year One Families)
