This article is intended for Idaho parents.
Odyssey has launched a new feature that is available immediately to all parents called Combining Household Funds! This feature allows families to combine funds from multiple student profiles within a single household account when making purchases on the Odyssey Marketplace.
With combined household funds, you can continue to use the marketplace as usual. At checkout, you may see multiple balances per student - a balance may be marked as V1. This indicates a rollover balance from left over year 1 of program funds. If you decide to make a purchase that exceeds a student’s remaining balance, the new household combining funds feature will automatically deduct funds from another student balance until the purchase price is met. Due to expiration dates, year 1 (or V1) funds will be prioritized when funds are combined.
When household funds are automatically applied, you will see a description within your shopping cart outlining what funds are being deducted from other student balances. Lastly, if your purchase exceeds the entire household balance, then you may use a credit card to supplement the remaining cost.
As always, you can reach the Odyssey team through our support channels with any questions or feedback.
