This article is intended for Idaho parents who would like to supplement an order with their credit card.
Steps to Supplement Your Last Order with a Credit Card
- Please note that this credit card supplementation can only be used once per student. This limitation ensures that the feature serves its intended purpose: helping parents clear out a student’s balance and fully utilize their grant funds. For example, if you have three students in your household, you can use this feature three times—once for each student.
- During this final transaction, purchase as many items as needed and use the credit card to cover any difference.
- For households with multiple students, use the credit card to zero out one student's account. Other students in the household will retain their funds. You can use the credit card supplementation for each student individually.
- At the bottom of your cart page, a disclaimer will notify you if there are insufficient funds in your wallet and the amount that needs to be supplemented with a credit card.
- Add your credit card at the checkout page. Our system uses Stripe for secure transactions, and we do not store credit card information on the Marketplace.
- You will see a detailed breakdown of costs on the checkout page, order summary/confirmation page, and order details page.
- If an item is returned or canceled, the refund will be processed first to your credit card. Any remaining amount will be returned to your account. If money is returned to your account, you will no longer have a $0 balance and can use the credit card supplementation feature again.

No Transaction Fees for Parents
You won't incur any transaction fees when using your credit card for these transactions. The vendors have agreed to absorb all associated fees, ensuring that you can use this feature without any additional cost.
Vendor Participation
While we have encouraged all vendors to participate in this initiative, some may choose to opt out. If your preferred vendor is not available for purchase, it means they have opted out of this program. We recommend checking with different vendors if you encounter this situation.
