If I Have Shared Custody and Alternating Tax Claims With My Children's Other Parent and Was Approved Last Year, Should They Reapply Under the Other Parent's Name or Can I Use My Previous Account?

For existing cases with alternating tax claims, Odyssey's recommendation would be to stick with the original account holder. If you were approved for the ESA the year prior, you will not need to redo the income verification process and are grandfathered in.
